AOI Copenhagen was originating from a collaboration project between AOI.CYCLE and National Taiwan Crafts Research and Development Institute (NTCRI) in 2020, aiming to craft a new form of mobility through the emotional and warmness symbol of woods, combining with reliable and durable material structured by stainless steel. In 2022, AOI.CYCLE extended the project and started to work with Coh&Co from Denmark, sourcing European local woods, constructing wooden frames and assembling the bikes in Denmark. The project reminds the trend of artisanal works, creates an elegant two-wheeler through thoughtful craftsmanship with distinctive details.
